Leave all coats in the lobby and try not to come with any big bags, just the minimum, which you can hang on the hooks in the studio. Please try to refrain from placing items on the floor in the studio

We are an unplugged space — no phones in the practice space and this includes turning off smart watches.

It is customary to come to practice, if possible, with an empty stomach so you are more comfortable during practice.

Once in the practice space, please keep your voices down and be mindful of other students.

We help welcome and make space for everyone.

No smoking or vaping in the entire space. No food or drink in the practice space.Water bottles along the wall are okay, but please clean up if you spill.

Please wipe down your props at the end of practice and return neatly to the shelves or hooks. Wipes are located at the edge of the shelves in the front. It may be a good idea for teachers to take them out before class

Student Autonomy:  We respect students’ right to their own bodies and practice. You know what is best for you. Please modify, take breaks or opt-out of any exercises that may be inappropriate for you. We ask that students communicate directly with the teacher before class in regards to any injuries, illnesses or recent surgeries so the teacher can suggest best practices for safety. It’s important to let teachers know if you are pregnant, as well, so specific modifications can be made.

Savasana: Often considered the most important part of practice, Savasana is final relaxation at the end of yoga practice. Please do not leave in the middle of Savasana. This will disrupt other’s experiences. If you are uncomfortable, find a position that works best for you or come to sit quietly. If you must leave early, please communicate this with the teacher ahead of class and leave before Savasana starts.

Accessibility: We offer props  and mats for yoga practice., free of charge. Many of our teachers are trained in accessible practices and can accommodate different needs.  If you have specific needs or are seeking a specific practice please, connect us with us directly for recommendations. We do have a bathroom on the premises, however unfortunately it is not handicap accessible.
